I’m not a regular viewer of Shipping Wars and tend not to watch reality TV at all for all sorts of reasons which could be enough for an entire blog post and a very long one at that. But when you’re flipping around the TV at night and perhaps you just got home from something or just off work and you’re hungry and tired, but not ready to go to bed yet, you tend to see all sorts of things on TV that you normally wouldn’t watch simply because you don’t tend to watch that type of programming. And Shipping Wars, is an example of that for me.

So, I end up seeing a few episodes of A&E’s Shipping Wars 5-6 years ago during the summers of those years and come across Jennifer Brennan. Who seems to have the energy of an entire kindergarten class that’s been eating nothing but cookies and candy all day and drinking nothing but cola, who is also as adorable as a lot of those kids both personally and physically and start watching this show a little bit to check her out on it. She’s beautiful, baby-face adorable, tight sexy body who wears boots and jeans everywhere like most cowgirls, funny, and is just very entertaining to watch.

Source: Underground LA– Sue Horton’s Billionaire Boys Club

Source: The New Democrat

I don’t want to compare the Billionaire Boys Club to the Hollywood Rat Pack or even the Hollywood Brat Pack, because the two Hollywood entertainment groups were actually talented and have real accomplishments on their resumes. Also, neither of them are currently in jail or are doing a life sentence in prison for anything. But the BBC does have few things in common with The Rat Pack at least.

Source: Sue Hunt– The Billionaire Boys Club

Both groups were based in Los Angeles. Both groups lived the high life by having great times and spending a lot of money on their social lives. The difference being The Rat Pack could afford to live the way they did because they brought in a lot of money for themselves and the people they worked for. TRP included both Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin, as well as several other great people like Sammy Davis and Peter Lawford. Money was never an issue with these guys.

Where the BBC separates with TRP and successful social clubs in Los Angeles and I’m sure several other places, is for one the other social groups were legitimate businesses. And because of that and that they were successful they brought in a lot of money again for themselves, but the people they worked for which just meant that money was always coming in for them. They lived the high life, but they also invested their money wisely and didn’t spend everything plus more than they were taking in. And that is where I mercifully drop the Billionaire Boys Club-Rat Pack comparison.

Now, who were the Billionaire Boys Club? Think about Bernie Madoff and Ponzi schemes, but then add murder to that and then go back 25 years. The Madoff scans were going on during the late 2000s ( 2007-09 ) in that time period during the start of the global financial crisis and at the start of the Great Recession. The BBC were operating during the early and mid 1980s and by late 1983 the American economy was booming again and the BBC wanted that action ( to use a catch phrase ) and be part of that, but not do the work and come up with a business where their clients would benefit from it. They saw their business as a zero sum gain where they would get everything, instead of seeing their investments as exactly that as investments and transactions where both sided would invest and then benefit from those investments mutually.

The crime that put Joe Hunt ( the leader and founder of the BBC ) in life for prison without the possibility of parole, has to do with their murder of Ron Levin. Who was just a much better, more experienced, more accomplished scam artist than Joe Hunt could ever be in his best drunken fantasy. There are a few expressions that seem very app here intaking about the BBC. You don’t exchange verbal jabs with a wiseass, unless you’re also a wiseass. You don’t get into a fist fight with the world heavyweight champion, unless you’re also an accomplished pro heavyweight boxer. And you don’t try to con a con artist or even work with one, unless you’re an accomplished con artist yourself. And can tell when that person is being real with you, or just scamming.

Joe Hunt and his partners murdered Ron Levin, because he was scamming them and they couldn’t get their money back from Levin and needed that money back. The BBC were at best a talented but lazy group of high school seniors headed to some preppy Ivy League school, or another great school in the Northeast or Pac 12, who wanted everything now and didn’t have the patience to wait or do the work themselves and pay the price needed to be successful investors. Like getting a degree in business management, to use as an example and then getting a job on Wall Street or working for some other investment firm and learning the tricks of their trade. And then commit their last amateurish act by murdering a fellow scam artist, because that person scammed them.

I guess I got into Longmire accidentally. I’m sure I saw advertising for it before I decided to start watching it every Sunday night for the first three seasons, but didn’t think much of it at first. Until I was flipping around one late night and caught this show again accidentally which can happen when you’re up late and not sleepy and kind of bored with nothing else to do. And I ran into Longmire and saw a scene with Deputy Vic Moretti ( played by Katee Sackhoff ) going through hotel rooms looking for either a suspect for evidence. This was the first season back in 2012 and I was thinking this is a beautiful, sexy cop, in a tight western cop outfit, kicking ass. This show might be worth watching.

Longmire is a lot more than just one gorgeous, sexy cop, who wears a tight blouse, skin-tight western denim jeans, that look like they’re as tight as steel, with western boots. With a beautiful body, who also happens to be adorable with a very sweet voice and smile. Longmire really is a great cop show. But let’s just say the show was either mediocre or cheesy, but with a great lead actress who is also very sexy who is always wearing the outfit I just described and always on the move or kicking ass in that sheriff’s outfit, I would still watch it loyally, just as long as Katee Sackhoff or whoever that actress is for that show is a major player on it. Just to check her out, unless my girlfriend or wife knew why I was watching Longmire and was with me at the time. Then I would just check out my romance partner instead.

As I said before, Longmire is a great show. It’s not just Katee Sackhoff kicking ass in skin-tight jeans and boots or doing other sexy activities, like I don’t know performing at the local bar and doing something like a striptease in her sheriff’s outfit. Robert Taylor does a great job as Sheriff Longmire. Lou Diamond Phillips ( as Longmire’s informant and occasional partner ) is also great on the show. Katee is more than just sexy eye candy on the show and does a great job as well. The writing is good and at times even very funny. The plots are good and gives people the impression that even though the show takes place in the middle of nowhere American-Indian country in Wyoming where there’s more cattle than humans in the town and county, there’s actual real crime that happens there with real criminals, that you need a real credible and qualified police department to deal with it successfully.

But what got my attention initially with Longmire, was Katee Sackhoff who I never heard of before Longmire, I guess I’m just not that much of a sci-fi fan and never watched Battlestar Galactica. But again I first saw Longmire because I was flipping around one late might and ran into it and noticed Katee Sackhoff who I didn’t know of previous and never even heard the name before. The name alone got to me about her because it’s so interesting and very ethnic. Perhaps Germanic or Northern Slavic and looking at her face I could believe either. And then I watch her on that show and started researching it to see what’s it about and when the show will be on again, etc so I can watch it again.

Longmire to me represents what great shows look like that you don’t just have to go for substance and just make your show about great acting, writing, storytelling, but with very plain looking people on it who at least dress very plainly or perhaps aren’t very sexy at all physically. Similar to shows like Law & Order SVU, Chicago PD, CSI Las Vegas, and other shows like that you can have great shows that have a lot of substance in it, but that also bring men and women’s attention to it because they want to check out the beautiful sexy people on it, while they’re also looking at the great show and hearing the great writing and delivery on it. Which is why Longmire is a great show, because it has great substance and style.

Source: The New Democrat

You can’t blame reality TV for everything that is wrong with America, ( trust me, I’ve tried ) but without this facts don’t matter, everything is relative, what you can get away with to accomplish whatever your goals are celebrity culture that we’re living in, Donald Trump is the king of that. No one uses that lifestyle and culture to his advantage better than The Donald Trump.

1600 Pennsylvania Avenue at The White House, is the biggest reality TV show in the history of universe. It’s on 24 hours a day even when most people in country ( except for your addicted insomniacs are asleep ) and it’s like one of those TV’s that don’t have an off button and even a mute button and to get away from it you have to be in a different room on a different floor. You can’t turn it off, but simply try to get away with it. Like turning your i-phone off while in search for a life outside of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue at The White House.

It’s not that we live in a reality TV universe, but that we live in Donald Trump’s reality TV universe. Where he’s the king of it and where they’re no rules at least that govern him. Where he never has to ever worry about being kicked off his own show ( unless Congressional Republicans grow a set off balls, or Democrats win back Congress ) because it is his own show. Unlike a reality TV show when the ratings start to slip and they believe that has to do with one character or several characters, those people are simply fired.

Firing the President of the United States, is about as easy as landing a 747 plane blindfolded without landing wheels, or pushing an elephant up the hill with just your arms and legs. Those things can only happen in extreme cases. And knowing this and the fact that The Donald has so little knowledge or respect for how American government works ( perhaps his father arranged for his son to not have to take social studies or American history in order to graduate ) The Donald views himself as a king or dictator even who can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants to without any real consequences.

Why not? He’s got a 90% approval rating inside of the so-called Republican Party and a Republican Congress that by enlarge doesn’t have the balls to hold him accountable for the most part, with a handful of Republicans Senators ( the last few Republicans who are actually still alive being the exception to this rule. Even though privately Congressional Republicans will tell you off the record that they know how irresponsible President Trump and his behavior is.

You can’t blame reality TV for anything and again I know because I’ve tried, but reality TV does has a lot to do with what’s wrong with America which is a subject for a future blog post. Personal responsibility with people taking the time to figure out the differences between what’s not reality TV but celebrity life TV where perception is more important than actual reality, has to be imaged here by every American especially the fans of celebrity life TV. But that’s the life that Donald Trump lives in and uses it to the max to advance his career goals like becoming President of the United States and being President. With 60 plus million Americans voting for him with about 90% of those voters still with him even with his low approval rating for a first term president.

The conservative case against Donald Trump is pretty clear I believe as a non-Conservative, but the conservative case against Donald Trump might not be the Republican case against him or even a Republican case against him. As Amanda Carpenter ( CNN conservative political analyst ) would agree with me here, Conservative and Republican aren’t the same things. What Republican Party was at least pre-Trump was, was a vehicle to promote conservative values and policies.

36ef0a83-46f9-49f2-bd1c-be2955f16fb9

Source: Harper Collins– Amanda Carpenter’s, conservative case against Donald Trump

But not all Republicans are Conservatives ( Donald Trump for example ) and believe in the same things. And as Amanda Carpenter would also agree she’s a Conservative first and a Republican second. Just like I’m a Liberal first and at best now an Independent-Democrat second. I’m not a big fan of the Democratic Party right now, which is the subject for perhaps a future blog article.

A Conservative to me at least in the political sense, is someone who believes in the U.S. Constitution and bases their politics around that and sees it as their job to conserve the Constitution and our individual rights and freedom. And not just some of them and try to pretend others don’t exist or are not important.

A Conservative is someone who believes in a strong national defense but is conservative in how to use it and bases their national security policy on what’s best for America and our allies. Not looking to invade countries simply because they have a bad authoritarian government and are bad to their people. ( Like the 2003 Iraq War ) Who believes in economic freedom, property rights, low taxation and regulation, fiscal responsibility, federalism which is a way of saying that government closest to home is the best government once you move out of national security and foreign affairs.

Donald Trump is pretty much the opposite of all of those things. He wants a large national defense and for us to spend a lot of money on it as a country, but isn’t very clear in when we should use it when we’re not under attack. Ran as a Nationalist in 2016 but hit the Syrian Assad Regime with missile strikes last year and again this year, when they gassed their own people. Sure, he believes in lower taxes and regulations, but so does the furthest Left Republican in the entire country believes in low taxation and regulation across the board as well.

What Donald Trump represents and what goes against American conservatism, is this Joe McCarthy/George Wallace faction in American politics that claims to be the real Americans and everyone else are just foreigners or traitors, or the Un-Americans, not deserving of the same rights and respect as their tribe. He represents nationalist-tribalism in America and in some cases racism and racists, as well as ethnic bigots and bigotry. He at the very least represents the people who hold racist and other bigoted views towards certain ethnic groups in America like Jewish-American. Whether he’s personally a racist or bigot himself, is the topic of a different debate. But those are the people he represents.

What Donald Trump is, is the anti-Conservative Republican President of the United States. Who sees his job as to protect himself and and his political interests. Even if it means doing things that aren’t conservative. Like attacking the American intelligence community and our law enforcement. Or attacking military veterans and their families simply because they don’t support him. Pardoning people who’ve already have admitted to committing the crimes that they were charged with, which is the latest examples with his pardons yesterday.

If President Trump thinks it will benefit him politically and personally, he’ll do it whether it’s conservative, progressive, nationalist, authoritarian, or anything else. He’s not just a political opportunist, but the most successful political opportunist that we’ve ever seen in this country which makes him very dangerous. A man without a core and center, is a man that can always be exposed, because he has nothing protecting and guiding him other than his short-term political and personal interests. Which is what you get with President Donald Trump.
